Monnalisetta Poster – The Queen of Mergellina

What was the Mona Lisa really doing before she posed in Florence? She was resting among the rocks of Mergellina, cradled by the waves and the sun of Naples.

The "Monnalisetta – The Queen of Mergellina" poster reinterprets Leonardo's masterpiece by merging it with the founding myth of the siren Parthenope and the vibrant aesthetic of auteur Pop Art comics. Reclining majestically on the rocks in front of Castel dell'Ovo and the smoking Vesuvius, Monnalisetta shows off her enigmatic smile, shell jewelry in her hair, and a splendid mermaid tail with emerald green scales.

Note: The print is sold unframed, leaving you total freedom to choose the ideal molding or passe-partout for your space.
